Position: Interior Architect

Square One, the fastest growing property development and investment company in Cyprus, is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced Interior Architect to join our team. As an interior architect at Square One, you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing the interior design process and architectural design detailing, ensuring the successful execution of our projects from concept to completion to the highest standard.

What you will work on:

• Coordination of Architecturals/Mechanical/Electrical/Structural of Interior Drawings.
• Design Detailing (RCPs, Flooring Plans, Elevations [Internal] etc).
• On-Site Coordination - With Contractors and Subcontractors and Project Architects.
• Communication with clients (client changes) - And Liaising with internal design and project management departments.
• Material Selection (Finishes, Booklets etc).
• On-Site Detailing Clarifications with Contractor and Subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design or related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in similar positions.
• Previous experience at a development company will be considered an advantage (preferably with on AND off site experience).
• Proficiency in design software like AutoCAD, Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong communication, creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills.
• Excellent design and visualization skills, with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of interior design principles, building codes, materials, and construction methods.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects.
• Fluent in English and Greek.

As an Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing day to day operations of the company’s workflows operate swiftly and efficiently.

What you will work on:

• Act as the primary support to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), facilitating streamlined communications and operations.
• Supervise the accounting department’s reporting, timelines, and task prioritization.
• Manage credit control operations, ensuring punctual and efficient client payments.
• Maintain and organize credit control filing and reporting systems for optimal functionality.
• Collaborate with external legal consultants to finalize contractual transactions.
• Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for multiple departments, including architectural, project management, accounting and sales.
• Oversee project timelines and task prioritization within architectural, accounting, legal and finance departments.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• While prior experience is not mandatory, the ability to identify challenges, proactively devise solutions, and execute promptly is imperative.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the successful execution of our construction projects from inception to completion. You will work closely with senior management, consultants and clients for the duration of construction of each project.

Responsibilities:

• You will be expected to manage and oversee construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including coordination of activities with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Coordinate and lead project meetings, including progress updates and issue resolution
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and regulations.
• Monitor, track and report project costs, budget allocations, and financial forecasts
• Oversee and review technical drawings and specifications.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, safety, and quality control
• Ensure the implementation of health & safety procedures, policies and legislation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, QS or related fields
• 5+ years of experience in Construction Management related roles.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and regulations
• Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities to manage complex projects
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent communication in Greek and English language. Both spoken and written.
