Accessibility Statement
Version 1.0, October 2026
SQONEPROPERTYPARTNERS LTD (Reg. no.: HE 444631)Website: squareone.com.cy
1. OUR COMMITMENT
1.1 SQONEPROPERTYPARTNERS LTD (the “Company”, “we” or “us”) wants its website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, cognitive or motor impairments and people who rely on assistive technology.
1.2 This statement sets out the standard we work to, what we have done, where we know the website falls short, and how to reach us if you have difficulty using it. We would rather hear from you than have you give up on a page.
2. SCOPE OF THIS STATEMENT
2.1 This statement applies to the website published at squareone.com.cy (the “Website”), including its development pages, property listings, enquiry forms and downloadable material.
2.2 It does not apply to third party platforms, property portals, social media pages or tools that are reached by a link from the Website and are operated by someone else, or to content supplied by third parties which we do not control.
3. THE STANDARD WE WORK TO
3.1 We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 at Level AA. That is the level referenced by the European harmonised standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1, which is the version currently cited in the Official Journal of the European Union.
3.2 A newer version of that standard, EN 301 549 V4.1.1, was published on 02/09/2026 and moves the baseline to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. It has not yet been cited in the Official Journal, so it does not yet carry presumption of conformity. We will move our target to WCAG 2.2 Level AA once it is cited.
3.3 The Website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that parts of the content do not fully meet the standard. The gaps we know about are listed in section 5.
4. WHAT WE HAVE DONE
4.1 The measures below are part of how the Website is built and maintained:
- accessibility requirements are written into the brief given to our web designers and developers
- text alternatives are provided for images that carry information
- pages are structured with proper headings so they can be navigated by screen reader
- the site can be operated by keyboard alone
- colour contrast is tested against the Level AA ratios
- forms carry visible labels
- the layout adapts to mobile and tablet screens
- no content plays audio automatically
5. KNOWN LIMITATIONS
5.1 Despite our efforts, some content is not yet fully accessible. We are working on it. Where a limitation affects you, contact us using the details in section 8 and we will supply the information another way.
- PDF brochures, floor plans and price lists may not be fully tagged for screen readers.
- architectural visualisations, site plans and floor plans carry information visually. Written descriptions are available on request.
- some video material does not yet carry captions or audio description.
- background videos play in a loop without an on-screen pause button. They stop when your device is set to reduce motion.
- interactive maps and 3D tours supplied by third parties may not meet the standard, and we cannot change their code.
- some project photos have only a general description (for example “exterior 1”) rather than a description of what they show.
- the contrast of text and buttons placed over photographs and videos cannot be measured automatically and may be lower on some images.
- the home page and the About us page do not yet mark their main content area for screen readers.
- the full-screen sections of the home page and the About us page are designed for standard text sizes, and very large text settings may cut some text off. At very high zoom levels, the slide indicators on project pages can be wider than the screen.
6. HOW WE ASSESSED THE WEBSITE
6.1 The Website was assessed by our web team (self assessment) on 26/10/2026, using automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA on each type of page at desktop and mobile sizes, manual keyboard testing in Chrome, and a layout check at 320 pixels wide (equivalent to 400% zoom).
6.2 Automated testing alone does not show the whole picture, so the assessment combined automated checks with manual keyboard testing. Screen reader testing has not yet been carried out and will form part of the next review.
7. COMPATIBILITY
7.1 The Website is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Safari (including on iPhone and iPad), Firefox and Edge browsers, and has been tested with Chrome and Safari at phone, tablet, laptop and desktop sizes. It has not been tested with screen readers or with older browsers such as Internet Explorer.
8. FEEDBACK AND CONTACT
8.1 If you cannot use part of the Website, or you need something from it in a different format, please tell us:
- Email: info@squareone.com.cy
8.2 It helps if you tell us the address of the page, what you were trying to do, and what went wrong, together with the browser and any assistive technology you use.
8.3 We aim to acknowledge your message within 3 working days and to give you a substantive answer within 10 working days.
8.4 If we cannot fix something quickly, we will give you the information you need in another format at no cost to you.
9. ALTERNATIVES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST
9.1 On request and at no cost we will provide brochures, floor plans, price lists and contractual information in large print, in plain text or in another accessible electronic format, take your enquiry by telephone, and assist you in arranging a viewing.
9.2 Our developments are designed and built to the accessibility requirements of the Cyprus building regulations that apply to each project. Questions about accessibility of a specific unit, entrance, lift, parking space or common area should be put to us directly so that we can answer on the facts of that development.
10. LEGAL POSITION
10.1 The Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Organisations Law of 2019, Law 50(I)/2019, applies to public sector organisations. The Company is not a public sector organisation.
10.2 The Accessibility of Products and Services Law of 2024, Law 57(I)/2024, which brings Directive (EU) 2019/882 into Cyprus law, applies to the services it lists, including e-commerce services, from 28/06/2025. The Website is informational. It presents properties and receives enquiries. It does not conclude contracts by electronic means and it takes no payment.
10.3 We publish this statement as a voluntary commitment.

11.2 We review it at least once a year, and whenever the Website is significantly redesigned or a new standard is cited in the Official Journal.
